About
I was born in Turin in 1988 and I loved drawing and art right from the start.
After high school I pursued my passions to Rome, where I settled and still live, to study in an academy of Cinema and following the Academy of Fine Arts where I graduated with full marks in 2017.
Both American and European post-World War II art permeates my work.
Nicolas De Stael, Jean-Paul Riopelle, Maurice Estève, Sean Scully, Afro Basaldella, are just some of the many artists who inspire me.
In the biennium 2018 / 19 I attended the studio of the artist Mario Salvo taking painting lessons with the palette knife - a technique that bears the name of stratigraphic spatula.

Beyond the skies. Rumi
The word that best translates my search is: Image.
The deepest and most ancestral meaning of Image’s concept is the basis of my work.
I am a visual type person, I like to work/create at 360º with painting, video and digital art. In this period of my life abstract painting took over other forms of expression.
I believe that we cannot arrive at an absolute truth about the meaning of images - of all images, and therefore of the ultimate Image: the concept of Representation.
But.
But with the gesture and the color that I put on the canvas I circumvent the truth and compose doubts, because this is the only thing that I have: doubt.
The Abstraction is a form of language before language, it brings us into a state of pre-knowledge, the state in which babies are found.
In this condition, which I am interested in reaching and in which I try to lead those who observe my works, the co-ordinates of thought are lost and people are dizzy.
Through "an image that does not represent anything" we reach that region of existence where dualism no longer exercises its power, Good and Evil have no more meaning, Duty and Pleasure are the same thing, and all pairs of opposites generating conflicts that overshadow the human being stop existing - there, where the individual can find his own essence.
